Choosing the Right Subscription Plan for Your Repair Business

Not every repair center needs the same plan. Here's how to think about which one actually fits your business as it grows.

Most repair management platforms — RepairPilot included — offer more than one subscription tier, and it's tempting to either underbuy to save money or overbuy just to be safe. Neither is ideal.

Start with your real numbers: how many repair jobs do you handle in a typical month, how many staff members need their own login, and how large is your spare parts catalog? A small, single-technician setup has very different needs from a multi-location repair center with a full team.

If you're growing quickly or expect seasonal spikes, a plan with a trial period and easy upgrades is worth more than a slightly cheaper plan with hard limits. Being locked out of creating new repair jobs during your busiest week is far more costly than the price difference between tiers.

Whatever you choose, revisit it every few months. A plan that fit your repair center a year ago may no longer match your team size or job volume today.
